A New Coffee Shop & Roasting Company in Spokane

Spokane is home to many people and I think it is safe to say most of us who live here are pretty darned fond of good coffee. There are numerous coffee stands, coffee shops, and even coffee roasters — maybe not as many as people assume are in the Seattle area, but we do have a great variety of places to go to.

On Mother’s Day I got to make a trip to one of the new coffee shops/roasters in town. I had been following Arctos Coffee Roasting Company on social media and I enjoyed what I saw and read, so I was looking forward to my first visit there….I was NOT disappointed.

We pulled up into the small parking lot and walked in thru the open garage doors; this location is in a renovated service station, with one section holding the roasting equipment and the rest being seating for the coffee shop.

We walked in and ordered our drinks.  For me, it was an Americano, which I had them add heavy whipping cream to when they made it and then added my own stevia at the table.  While the Americano was being made we walked around and admired the set-up, including the roasting room.

We did not have anything to eat as we had just come from brunch,  but as you can see from the pictures, they do have some scones and pastries to enjoy.  I forgot to take a picture of the menu for the food items — too busy looking around, I guess.  There was so much to see and enjoy.

My Americano was perfection in a cup!  I thoroughly enjoyed every sip of it.

So, if you are looking for a casual place to enjoy a great cup of coffee or just need to grab a coffee to go, stop by Arctos Coffee & Roasting Co.  The location is 1923 North Hamilton St in Spokane.  I think, like me, you will be glad you did.

And remember, coffee is mandatory

This post is not sponsored and is simply an honest review of a local coffee spot that I went into and enjoyed!
